It uses an arrangement of buttons or keys to act as mechanical levers or electronic switches. Keybord keys (buttons) typically have a set of characters engraved or printed on them, and each press of a key typically corresponds to a single written symbol. The present invention seeks to provide a computer keyboard which is operative to provide, in a single unit, multilingual functions, which are not presently provided in a computer keyboard. The present invention concerns a multilingual computer keyboard that combines the alphabet characters of the English, French, and local African language. The keyboard layout in this invention is such that keys are combined to form the required letter, diacritics and ligature of language native to Africa. This invention comprises of a method for combining alphabet characters of multiples languages, allowing a user to easily and conveniently type alphabet characters of English, French and African languages.
