-Certificate of aptitude for collective management (CAGEC): co-organized with Thomas Sankara University (Burkina Faso) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (OMPI).

II.1. Certificate of aptitude for collective management (cagec)

Specific objectives:
Provide member states with strong skills with trades related to the collective management of copyright and neighboring rights.
Educational objectives:
Students must be able to training:
- Master the ecosystem of collective management organizations;
- Understand the organization and functioning of collective management organizations;
- Know how to set up the right processes to optimize collective management;
- Master the techniques of documentation, perception and distribution of fees;
- Understand the different contractual relations between the various actors in the field of rights of authors and neighboring law.
Public concerned:
- staff of collective management organizations;
- Responsible of copyright organizations and neighboring rights;
-managers of production houses, radio-diaffusion organizations;
- managers of publishing companies;
- holders of rights on the works of the spirit and on the objects of neighboring rights;

II.2. Initiation certificate to intellectual ownership

Objective
Allow listeners to learn the OAPI intellectual property property system.
Educational objectives:
Auditors must be able to training:
- Master the fundamentals of the intellectual property system;
- Master the procedures for protecting creations at OAPI (technical, commercial, aesthetic);
-Carry out pre-diagnosis in industrial property;
- know the different forms of violation of industrial property rights;
- Assist, advise and support users of the industrial property system in
the assembly of creations protection request files;
- know the role of national liaison structures in the promotion of the intellectual property system;
- operate the online deposit system set up by OAPI;
Public concerned:
OAPI and SNL staff, students, employees of agent, magistrates, clerks, bailiffs, anyone interested.
Eligibility conditions for training:
Hold a BTS or a DEUG (Bac+2) or have validated the 2nd academic year agree

II.3. Training in the new procedure for issuing invention patents to the OAPI

Objective
Allowing agents, intellectual property advice and other intellectual property professionals to
familiarize themselves with the provisions of Annex I of the Bangui Agreement, an act of February 14, 2015, with the new procedure for the protection of inventions at the OAPI, with opposition procedures for the issuance of a patent, the claim of property before the organization, to the content of the documentary research report on the state of the technique, to the different types of notification irregularities, elements of responses including deadlines.
Educational objectives:
Agent, PI advice and other PI professionals must be able to master:
- Provisions of Annex I of the Bangui Agreement, an act of December 14, 2015;
- new procedure for issuing an OAPI invention certificate;
- Constitution of a patent application file for the OAPI;
- different stages of processing a patent application at the OAPI;
- Steps of an opposition procedure to the issuance of a patent to the OAPI;
- Steps of a procedure for claiming the right to the title;
- Interpretation of a documentary research report on the state of the technique;
- Content of the different types of irregularities notification, the answers to be provided including deadlines.
