
Composition
Three full members and three alternate members chosen by drawing on a list of magistrates from member states
A presidential president among the members
The members are appointed for a period of two years renewable
Attributions
Appeal and jurisdictional control body
Examine and statue on the appeals formed against the Director General's decisions concerning:
Refusal to register industrial property securities
Opposition rejections to registration
Discharge of restoration requests
Rejection of protective prolongers
Guarantees the uniform application of the Bangui agreement and its appendices
Functioning
Meets in ordinary sessions, generally two to three times a year
Decisions are made by majority of votes, that of the president being preponderant in the event of sharing
Commission's decisions are final and are not likely to be administrative recourse
Appeals must be formed within sixty days from the notification of the contested decision
