The African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI) partnered with stakeholders in the intellectual property ecosystem for the signing of a tripartite agreement between Guinea's National Liaison Structure with OAPI, the Guinean Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (CCIAG), and the Conakry Commercial Court. The ceremony took place on March 13, 2025, under the chairmanship of Dr. Diaka Sidibe, Minister of Trade, Industry and SMEs.
For a business climate regulated by IP rights
The event aimed to promote the development of an environment conducive to innovation and investment through the protection and defense of creators' rights by the intellectual property system.

• Facilitating the registration of industrial property rights for economic actors
• Capacity building in the management and resolution of intellectual property disputes
• Raising awareness and supporting entrepreneurs, craftspeople and innovators in protecting their creations and innovations
• Encouraging the creation and development of innovative start-ups and SMEs
• Facilitating access to technology databases to promote local industrialization and transformation
