Created on December 17, 2007 by the Board of Directors, the National Liaison Structure is defined as:
It is therefore a national administration which works in synergy with OAPI in order to promote intellectual property at the national level.
Most national liaison structures are housed within the Intellectual Property Documentation Centres (IPDCs) built by the Organization in Member States.
National users who request the services of OAPI (information, protection requests, project funding, etc.) can contact this structure directly.
