Libreville in Gabon will host the 5th edition of the "OAPI Brand Awards " .
The "OAPI Brand Awards" are a competition between companies in member states that hold trademarks protected by OAPI. They give these companies the opportunity to highlight their expertise in using the brand as a strategic intangible asset for development purposes.
Beyond a competition, the Brand Awards are a major event for the African Intellectual Property Organization.
Indeed, the Awards offer OAPI the opportunity to:
- to promote trademarks protected by OAPI;
- promote the strategic use of the brand by companies in Member States;
- to raise public awareness of the importance of the intellectual property system in general.
