Libreville in Gabon will host the 5th edition of the "OAPI brand Awards" .
The “OAPI brand Awards” are a competition between companies in the member states holding protected brands at the OAPI. They give these companies the opportunity to highlight their know-how in the use of the brand as a strategic intangible active in development.
Beyond a competition, the brand's Awards are a major event for the African Intellectual Property Organization.
Indeed, the Awards offer the opportunity to the OAPI of:
- Promote marks protected by OAPI;
- Promote the strategic use of the brand by companies of the member states;
- Awareness of the general public about the importance of the intellectual property system in general.
