A tripartite agreement between the National Liaison Structure of Guinea with OAPI, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts of Guinea (CCIAG) and the Commercial Court of Conakry was signed on March 13, 2025, under the chairmanship of Dr. Diaka SIDIBE, Minister of Trade, Industry and SMEs of Guinea.
The signing of this agreement aims to promote the development of an environment conducive to innovation and investment through the protection and defense of creators' rights by the intellectual property system.

Priority areas of the convention
- Facilitating the registration of industrial property rights of economic actors;
- Capacity building in the management and resolution of intellectual property disputes;
- Raising awareness and supporting entrepreneurs, craftsmen and innovators in protecting their creations and innovations;
- Incentives for the creation and development of innovative start-ups and SMEs;
- Facilitating access to technology databases to promote local industrialization and transformation.
